Born in Sindelfingen, Germany, Burak Gürses currently works as a Art Director at Havas Istanbul, which was named the Best Creative Agency of the Year 2020 by Mediacat, winning a record total of 73 awards.
Following his graduation from graphic design department of Istanbul Aydın University, Burak started his career at an early age and joined Ayakkabı Dünyası. Then he pursued his dream of working for a major agency, and after gaining hands-on experience at Generation M and Altavia Dekatlon, he became a art director at Rabarba, one of the biggest ad agencies in Turkey. In 2019, he made it into Mediacat’s ‘30 under 30’ list which recognizes younger talents of the advertising world. One of his prints for the Migros Sanal Market was displayed on the annual exhibition of GMK (Association of Graphic Designers in Turkey). After three successful years at Rabarba, he started to work at Havas Istanbul, an outstanding member of the International Havas Group. His successful campaign works won several national awards.
Besides his award-winning works for Arçelik, one of the most successful companies in Turkey, he likes to challenge himself in digital world. He caught the attention of magazines like Plastik and ArtsxDesign with his controversial and experimental digital works.
